Do I need technical skills?
No. Computer Use works through the regular Claude Cowork interface — you describe what you want in plain language, and Claude does the clicking and typing.
Which computers does this work on?
macOS only (as of March 2026). Windows and Linux support hasn't been announced yet.
Do I need a paid Claude account?
Yes. Computer Use requires Claude Pro ($20/month) or Claude Max.
Is it safe to give AI control of my computer?
Lesson 7 covers security in detail. The short answer: it's a research preview with real risks. We recommend starting on a non-critical machine.
