AI for Pharmacists
AI workflow course for U.S. pharmacists. NPI verification, drug-interaction sanity checks, MTM letters, patient-counseling scripts, formulary substitutions. 8 lessons with certificate.
If you’re a community, hospital, or clinical-specialty pharmacist in the U.S., OpenAI just made you a free tool that’s genuinely useful for daily work. It’s called ChatGPT for Clinicians. It’s verified via NPI. It includes a clinical search function with cited answers and a deep medical research mode. And it’s not the consumer ChatGPT — it’s a separate workspace tuned for clinical work.
But most of the launch coverage focused on physicians and nurse practitioners. Pharmacists got added almost as an afterthought — even though the day-to-day workflow wins might actually be biggest for you.
This course teaches the four prompts that produce real time savings, the two cases where ChatGPT is the wrong tool, and the professional judgment that lets you use it confidently. You’ll finish in about 90 minutes and walk away with a saved prompt pack you’ll use for the rest of your career.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to pay for ChatGPT Plus?
No. ChatGPT for Clinicians is free for verified U.S. pharmacists, NPs, PAs, and physicians. Verification is via NPI through OpenAI's third-party verification provider. The course teaches you the verification flow.
Can I use this with patient data containing PHI?
Not on the standard ChatGPT for Clinicians free tier — it doesn't include a Business Associate Agreement. The course teaches you exactly how to write prompts that produce excellent output WITHOUT identifiable patient data, using de-identified or aggregate descriptions.
Will this course still be useful if OpenAI changes ChatGPT for Clinicians?
Yes. The prompts and workflows we teach are about pharmacy practice — they translate to any AI clinical assistant that emerges. UI buttons may move; the workflow doesn't.
Is this course only for community pharmacists?
It works for community, hospital, and clinical-specialty pharmacists. The 4 core prompts apply to all settings; specialty-specific notes appear where relevant.
